The showcase

Docusign is showcasing the eSignature helping the environment – DocuSign environmental impact calculator.

DocuSign eSignature is a fast and easy way to help government departments and businesses save time, money and importantly, the environment.

What’s smart is the analytical data that is available for our customers within the product, with measurable insights into trees saved, CO2 avoided, waste product and water saved, through document digitisation. These are presented both with solid metrics and examples that compare to things like washing machine use and car emissions.

For example, there has been 55 billion sheets of paper DocuSign and its customers have saved and it is just the beginning. Also saved were over 5.9 billion gallons of water needed to make that much paper, plus over 148 million kilograms of waste. And because that paper was not made, our planet was spared over 4.7 billion pounds of additional CO₂

As a country we are committed to reducing our emissions by 43% by 2030. Unnecessary paper created in dealing with Government is associated with significant co2 emissions as documents are driven around, posted, printed, scanned and stored. Take the pledge today to have all of your documents stay digital from start to finish and let Government be a leader in the country’s march towards 43% by 2030.
