TCA International

Supporting Australian tech companies to grow overseas and championing our tech industry globally

TCA’s international practice champions Australia as a tech industry leader on the global stage.

We help our members expand overseas by providing strategic advice, valuable connections, and pathways to access international markets.

Through strong partnerships and global engagement, our work supports trade and investment opportunities for Australian tech companies.

We also work with government to shape Australia’s policy positions on digital trade and international technology regulation to remove barriers to investment and technology trade.

The TCA also collaborates with international technology companies and investors aiming to broaden their global footprint by establishing or scaling operations in Australia.

Trade & Investment Working Group:

TCA’s Trade and Investment Group drives our national tech industry stance on Australia’s technology trade and investment policy, raising issues on key trade negotiations and agreements, international standards, and regulatory frameworks that impact market access, data flows, and the global competitiveness of Australian tech companies. We also provide inputs to foster Australian tech policy leadership in key international fora.

Support for TCA members to go global:

We support our members in developing and executing their international growth and expansion strategies. Through our TradeStart partnership with Austrade and our dedicated TCA Partner Forum, we offer insights, practical guidance, and market intelligence to help members identify global opportunities and connect with trusted networks and stakeholders in key international markets.

International delegations:

We create international opportunities for our members to build global connections and showcase Australian tech capabilities on the world stage. Our delegations offer direct exposure to priority markets, enabling members to engage with key stakeholders, explore new commercial opportunities, and deepen government and business relationships between Australia and its international partners.
