Tech Council launches Consumer Energy Tech Alliance

The Consumer Energy Tech Alliance (CETA) is a pioneering initiative by the Tech Council of Australia (TCA), uniting technology leaders in consumer energy resources (CER) to drive Australia’s energy transition. With these energy solutions reshaping the energy landscape, CETA ensures that tech innovation, consumer empowerment, and fair competition are at the forefront of policy and industry discussions.

The widespread adoption of solar, battery storage, and smart technologies is transforming the energy grid, turning consumers into active energy producers. This presents opportunities for increased renewable energy generation, greater reliability and lower energy prices.

CETA is dedicated to realising these opportunities through fostering collaboration between industry, government, and consumers, ensuring that technology plays a critical role in building a more efficient, inclusive energy system for all Australians.
