TCA and Austrade launch partnership to accelerate the growth of Australian tech to ‘go global’
The Tech Council of Australia (TCA) and the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) have entered into a new partnership to accelerate the growth and expansion of Australian tech companies. The partnership supports tech companies with advice, connections, and pathways to access global market opportunities.
This partnership establishes a National TradeStart Adviser role to assist Critical and Enabling Technology companies. The TradeStart Adviser will be embedded within the TCA team and work directly with tech companies across Australia – connecting them with Austrade services and programs globally. This includes Austrade’s Landing Pads, located across the United States, United Kingdom, South Asia and Southeast Asia.
Damian Kassabgi, TCA CEO, says, “We are thrilled to be joining forces with Austrade to help take more Australian tech companies global. This partnership is a huge step forward in supporting our Australian tech sector as it continues to grow and compete on the world stage.”
